When you knit...it's okay to wear needles in your hair.
Okay, so about hair extensions...I have a set of purple and black ones (no surprise there.) and I was having a hell of a time keeping them in my hair during a photo shoot to show off different wools and spinning wheels for alternative living DIY style...so...In a hurry, Instead of grabbing my nightmare before xmas chopsticks for my head...I pulled out my purple and black knitting needles...sizes 8 thru 14. It worked like a charm! I had NO problem with my hair extensions ALL NIGHT LONG! I wore it to the club...13 hours...NOT A PROBLEM. and it didn't hurt taking them out either. Now I wear knitting needles whenever I wear extensions...it's a trademark thing now to go with the "auntie" theme...now all I need is some bat shaped sugar cookies and the dark children will follow! All that's missing is a gingerbread house in the forest. FYI: Yes! I knit that scarve also. It's a traditional boucle yarn and about 15 feet long by two feet wide...I consider this a scarf.
